Produced by the Bettty & Taylor’s group, Yorkshire Tea has become one of the most, if not the most, popular black tea brands that is stocked in stores all over the country.
Yorkshire Tea had reached out to Flavor with the main objective of increasing consideration amongst their ‘busy switchers’ audience , and driving trial across their brand to encourage post-trial purchases.
The Yorkshire Tea audience consisted of ‘busy switchers’ of a 51% female audience between 25-44, 48% of those have children and 62% are in full-time professional jobs.
Their hobbies included cooking, listening to music, baking and gardening, and are motivated and live an enjoyable lifestyle.
A combination of profiling tools, TGI, Acorn and proprietary data had been used to identify hot-spots of the Yorkshire Tea audience throughout the UK whilst ensuring minimal audience wastage when doing so.
Flavor proposed New Home Sampling having aligned with the Yorkshire Tea target audience reaching up to 40,000 unique home movers per month.
By tapping into this key life event, consumers are more likely to engage with brands and make lifelong and memorable connections with them.
Flavor worked with a number of mortgage providers, estate agents and new home builders to distribute 87,000 samples of Yorkshire Tea sample boxes into New Home boxes – making their way directly into consumers homes.
The campaign was tracked throughout using integrated measurement to understand campaign success and insightful consumer behaviours towards the product.
